New Trick and shopping with Mom...

Hey Mom, Look what Honey taught me!!Yea!! I love to play in the water!

Where does all that water go???

Thank Heavens!!! We're leaving Gail Pittman...I need a drink!
So do y'all like the trick that my mom taught Caden?? He loves it...it's his very favorite thing to do at our house now! He makes a beeline for our bathroom whenever he gets the chance. It's really funny to watch because he is absolutely delighted each time the water comes on. Since Caden can go out in public now, we've been catching up on some shopping. Caden has enjoyed some of it, but Gail Pittman definitely is not his favorite. Frank was quite proud, however, because he really seemed to enjoy Lowe's!
I'm very sad...Spring Break is almost over! Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I also love spending time at home with Caden. We've had a GREAT week together, and I hate to see it end. But it just means that summer is just around the corner!! YIPPEE!! I remember when I was in school and my teachers would always say that they were more excited about summer and breaks than we were, and I never believed them...now I know they were speaking the truth!

Random pics and thoughts...

Caden and I are still passing the time until Frank comes home tomorrow night...YEA DADDY!!! I worked at Apple Annies for a little while today helping to clean out the storage room. Ms. Linda, if you read this, WE NEED YOU!!!!! Here are some random pics that I took of Caden tonight.
This one really shows off his odd tooth pattern. Notice one of his middle teeth hasn't come in yet...I call him Buck Toothed Bertha.Happy Baby!

The Look of innocence...

I LOVE cabinets!

Mom, this cabinet is a mess, I think I can really help you re-organize things!

While the cat's away, the mice will play...

Frank is out of town with his kiddos in Gatlinburg (sp?), so Caden and I are having to entertain ourselves. Yesterday, Neecie and baby Bryce came over for the afternoon. He is 4 months old and is SO adorable! Then we decided that we would take dinner over to Aunt Kel. Caden had an especially good time because he LOVES to play with Aunt Kel's dog, Bella. It is the cutest thing ever!!
What a cute family portrait!

Here's Caden with Papa...we went over today to get Savanna's birthday present monogrammed. (by the way...today is Savanna's birthday...Happy Birthday!!! We can't wait until the party on Sunday!)

And here's another cute birthday picture...Honey and Papa gave him this car.

The Party of the century...

Here are the much anticipated birthday party pictures. The party was so much fun, and I can't believe that my little boy is one! It has absolutely FLOWN by and has been the most wonderful year of our lives. God had so richly blessed us in ways we could have never imagined!
Here's the gift table and banner.
Random Decorations...

Duck pond punch...

Basket of favors. It was a duck cookie and a rubber duckie with a party hat on. It was tied up in a duckie cellophane bag with a poem attached that read,
"The party's over,
I'm officially one.
Thanks for coming,
I hope you had fun.
Here's a favor
from me to you.
See you next year,
When I turn TWO!"

The food table...Gale made the fabulous cake...

The fabulous cake...

A close-up of the banner...

Yea Presents!!!

Here's Caden with his "smash" cake. He wasn't too interested in getting all sticky. In this picture, he's trying to get the cheerios off the top that Frank and I were trying to entice him with.

Hair Cut...

Here are some pics of Caden getting his hair cut on Friday. He has had his hair cut before (Ms. Sue cut it at our house), but this was his first haircut at the "beauty parlor." He was perfect!

The Playroom is finished!

I finally got the chance to make curtains for the playroom today, so here are the pics of the finished product. Now it finally looks like a playroom, not a playroom in a formal dining room!

Gale painted these canvases for us...

Caden thinks the room looks too clean, so he's putting his special "touch" on it...

It's never too early for a little Gail Pittman!

And now a couple of pics so you can see how the playroom is situated in our house (for those of you who haven't been here)
