Daddy's Favorites...

Frank has 2 great loves (3 if you count me)...they are his boy and his dog. Britney is our german shepherd, and she is a great dog. Gentle and quite loving! And Caden LOVES her! He loves to sit in Frank's lap and put his feet on her back. He laughs and laughs...it is really too cute!I LOVE this picture!
On a completely different note, the blog will not be updated for a few days because Mom and I are going to Dallas tomorrow to get some things for the store. Also...stay tuned for some very exciting news!!! (No...I'm not pregnant!!!) Happy Weekend!

Look what I can do...

That's right...Caden is walking! It's still in that "drunken stumble" phase, but it is SOOOO cute. And, as you see in the picture, he keeps his arms tucked up high to help him balance. Caden still had fever this morning, but he hasn't had any since his nap. If he has fever again in the morning, Frank will take him back to the doctor...our home away from home!

Don't mind the baskets of laundry!
This could become a dangerous toy...I can just see him trying to use it as a trapeze!

Fevers and a GREAT gift...

Apparently, Caden prefers the after hours clinic to the regular pediatrician. Actually it's the same office, so it's quite nice. When I got home from work on Friday, Caden was waking up from his nap. When I went to pick him up, I noticed that he was warm. I waited for a bit to make sure it wasn't just him being warm from snuggling the bumper pad. Then I took his temp and it was 102!! So, we waited 20 minutes for the after hours clinic to open (by the way, we should NOT know their hours by heart!) and headed in. Dr. Denny (which we love!) said that it is probably just a fever virus and to give him Tylenol and motrin. Of course, when we got to the doctor, he had no fever and was running around like a wild man (I had given him tylenol before we left home). So for the last 24 hrs, Caden has had LOTS of tylenol and motrin! I think the fever finally broke this afternoon, but we shall see in the morning.

On a MUCH more fun note, Mrs. Linda sent Caden the best birthday gift. Frank really appreciated it the most. For those of you who don't know, my husband has a slight obsession with Elvis. I don't know where she found it, but here is the book Mrs. Linda sent Caden for his birthday. It is TOO cute!! We absolutely love it...we laughed for quite a while when we opened it! Who needs ten little monkeys when you can have this:

Fun times at AA...

For those of you who don't know, AA is what I call Apple Annie's. :) Yesterday and today were the Spring Open House at Apple Annies, and it was quite fun...complete with the frozen cappuccino machine!
Here's Gale and Sue being cute... Apple Annie herself...no autographs please.

Anna (a.k.a. "GG" or "Garbage Girl") showing the machine who's boss!

Kelli modeling the cappuccino...

Savanna's Birthday...

As you can tell, school is back in session, so I'm not as good at updating the blog!! Anyway...Sunday we went to Savanna's birthday party. It was really fun, and she was SUPER cute!!! Here are a few pics from the day:
Hey, this is my party!
Fine, my dad and I will go play with the toys in your room...

Mmm...CAKE!!!
Savanna did much better with her cake than Caden did with his. She ate almost the entire thing! It was a great party for a sweet girl!

New Trick and shopping with Mom...

Hey Mom, Look what Honey taught me!!Yea!! I love to play in the water!

Where does all that water go???

Thank Heavens!!! We're leaving Gail Pittman...I need a drink!
So do y'all like the trick that my mom taught Caden?? He loves it...it's his very favorite thing to do at our house now! He makes a beeline for our bathroom whenever he gets the chance. It's really funny to watch because he is absolutely delighted each time the water comes on. Since Caden can go out in public now, we've been catching up on some shopping. Caden has enjoyed some of it, but Gail Pittman definitely is not his favorite. Frank was quite proud, however, because he really seemed to enjoy Lowe's!
I'm very sad...Spring Break is almost over! Don't get me wrong, I love my job, but I also love spending time at home with Caden. We've had a GREAT week together, and I hate to see it end. But it just means that summer is just around the corner!! YIPPEE!! I remember when I was in school and my teachers would always say that they were more excited about summer and breaks than we were, and I never believed them...now I know they were speaking the truth!
